Kaycie Burdick is giving Washington a high-contact, high-impact spark in the outfield
In the 2026 season, Burdick has been one of Washington’s most efficient table-setters, hitting .374 with a .472 on-base percentage, 61 hits, 30 RBIs, and 34 runs while starting 51 of 55 games. She also flashed big-game pop with a grand slam, earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors, and was described by Washington as bringing speed, power, and an arm that “rivals some of the best in the game.” If you want a left-handed outfield bat who can get on base, pressure defenses, and keep the lineup moving, she’s absolutely worth caring about.
