Lafayette’s brainy ballhawk with an academic-all-star reputation
Jamie Anzalone is best known as a proven, high-IQ defensive back from Lafayette who built his profile on ball skills, consistency, and leadership—he was a three-year varsity letter winner and led his high school team in interceptions as a DB, then became a three-time Academic All-American at Lafayette. The standout differentiator is reliability: he earned captain/defensive MVP-type respect and carried a strong academic-and-football resume, which suggests discipline, maturity, and a steady temperament. If you value instinct, preparation, and a player who brings dependable energy, he’s an easy fit.
