From FAU Safety to Auburn's Rising Defensive Scouting Star
Kaelen Skipper, a 5-9 safety who wrapped up his playing days at Florida Atlantic in 2023 with limited action—including a solo tackle vs. USF and two stops vs. Monmouth—has pivoted seamlessly into coaching. Joining Auburn in January 2026 as assistant scouting coordinator on defense, this St. John's, Fla., native brings a dual-degree edge (communications 2021, sport management master's 2024) and insider knowledge of SEC-level talent evaluation. His compact frame belies sharp instincts; ideal for teams seeking gritty, detail-obsessed scouts who maximize every rep—watch him shape Auburn's back-seven recruits.
