Chris Echols gives Georgia State a rugged frontcourt presence
Chris Echols is a 6-6 forward whose value shows up in the gritty stuff: in the 2025-26 season, he averaged 7.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 0.8 assists while shooting 44.1% from the field[1][5]. He profiles as a hard-nosed rebounder and defender who likes the paint, and Georgia State’s own program description has long emphasized his toughness, athleticism, and willingness to do the physical work inside[3]. If your team wants size, edge, and board-crashing energy more than flashy shot-creation, Echols is the kind of forward who can quietly swing possessions.
