Long, poised Arizona guard who controlled tempo and created for others
Shakur was a **6-3 senior point guard** for Arizona known for his **playmaking, size at the position, and steady floor leadership**, capped by a senior year in which he averaged **11.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 1.5 steals**. He stood out less as a pure scorer than as a calm organizer who could run an offense and defend with length, and his career later extended into the NBA, reinforcing that he had pro-level guard tools. He is a fit for teams that value a **pass-first lead guard** with experience and control over pace.[3][4][2]
