Rising Mercer LB with 6-Tackle Peak and Elite Instincts
Jordan Harper, a linebacker for the Mercer Bears, is a data-driven standout whose 2024 sophomore season saw him play in nine games, including a single-game high of six solo tackles against Ferrum on Oct. 5, plus an interception that underscores his playmaking range[1]. Beyond stats, Harper’s differentiators include relentless intensity, a personality marked by quiet confidence and team-first grit, and a clean injury history that allows full-season durability. Coaches describe him as a 'stat leader' in instincts and coverage, making him an ideal fit for teams needing a versatile LB who reads offenses quickly. Why care? He’s a rising talent with elite differentiators that translate to real-game impact, not just numbers[1].
