a size-and-instincts linebacker with a starter’s shot at Wagner
Jacob Meier profiles as a physical, instinctive linebacker whose value goes beyond the box score: Wagner has described him as bringing tremendous size, instincts, and leadership, and he was expected to compete for a starting role after arriving with four years of FBS experience at UConn. In his earlier Wagner bio, he was credited with 54 tackles and a season-high 10 stops in one game, which hints at a reliable, downhill tackler. If your team wants a mature, experienced, bring-the-wood defender, Meier looks like a strong fit.
