Scott Plaisance Jr. brings rim protection, veteran feel, and high-motor frontcourt value
Scott Plaisance Jr. is a 6-foot-9 forward who, in his final New Orleans seasons, stood out as a low-usage, high-impact big: in the 2018-19 season he was a starting-caliber presence who previously posted 9.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and a team-best 38 blocks, with a reputation for swatting shots, grabbing tough boards, and giving the Privateers physical edge. The scouting buzz is simple: if you want size, shot-blocking, and a veteran glue guy who plays with energy, he fits; if you need a face-up scorer or perimeter creator, he’s not that guy.
