Archie brings size, ball skills, and proven DB production
SchDarren Archie is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound defensive back whose best trait is versatility: he has shown he can tackle, create turnovers, and hold up in coverage. In the 2021 season at West Alabama, he posted 24 total tackles, 2 interceptions, and 4 pass breakups, and in the 2022 season he added 27 tackles and 2 tackles for loss before his college career appears to have wrapped up. He’s the kind of long, physical defensive back coaches like because he can fit multiple roles and play with confidence; the fit is strongest for teams valuing experience, size, and instincts over flashy headline stats.
