Ryan Givens offers depth and experience in the Redbirds’ secondary
Ryan Givens is a seasoned Illinois State defensive back whose value comes from reliable depth and game experience rather than headline-grabbing stats; in 2011 he appeared in nine games at cornerback and finished with seven tackles, including five solo stops. That profile suggests a player who can be trusted in rotational duty and special situations, with a no-frills, assignment-sound style that coaches tend to like. Because the available public data is limited and dated, he reads more as a dependable role player than a pure rankings or accolades standout.
