Illinois 6-6 center Hayven Smith brings size, rebounding touch, and quiet upside
In the 2025-26 season, Hayven Smith appeared in 19 games for Illinois and posted 0.1 points and 0.5 rebounds in limited minutes, but her real calling card remains her 6-foot-6 frame, interior length, and high-school track record as a double-double threat and shot blocker. She was an IBCA and Illinois AP All-State pick in high school and showed she can impact the glass and protect the rim when given space. Her fit is best for a team that values size, patience, and developmental upside over immediate box-score production.
