Versatile ECU linebacker with special-teams grit
Desi Brown has been a steady, versatile piece for East Carolina, with the program’s roster bio noting a move from safety to inside linebacker and repeated value on special teams. In the 2013 season, he logged 11 games with 2 assisted tackles and has 25 career appearances, which points to a player trusted for role depth, toughness, and adaptability rather than flashy box-score production. The big differentiator is his defensive flexibility and special-teams edge — exactly the kind of glue guy coaches love when they want a dependable, physical fit.
