Otis Thrasher brings veteran DB savvy and captain energy to Lafayette
Otis Thrasher is a long, experienced Lafayette defensive back who earned captain recognition and logged meaningful snaps across multiple seasons, including starting every game in the spring 2021 season and producing 14 tackles that year, with a season-high six in the rivalry win over Lehigh[1][4]. His best differentiators are steadiness, leadership, and versatility in the back end rather than flashy stat-sheet volume; he’s the kind of veteran DB who can help stabilize a secondary and set the tone physically and mentally[1][4].
