Gabe Sewell brings proven production and downhill toughness to Nevada’s defense
Sewell is a physical, instinctive linebacker who has already shown real playmaking value at Nevada, finishing a season with 78 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss while flashing strong disruption against the run[7]. At 6-foot, 245 pounds, he profiles as a compact, aggressive defender with enough burst to impact the backfield, and his long résumé of tackles, sacks and forced fumbles suggests a tone-setting, high-effort player who fits best in a defense that wants a reliable, tough inside presence[1][6][8].
