Kansas safety Rodney Fowler brings speed, versatility, and veteran secondary savvy
Rodney Fowler is a Kansas safety known more for flexibility and athleticism than flash: early Kansas coverage described him as a speedy former track standout who could play either safety or corner, and later depth-chart notes had him competing for a starting safety job in the 2005 season. He also showed playmaking range, including an interception return for a touchdown against Texas Tech in the 2005 season. If a team wants a defensive back who can adapt, compete, and fit multiple roles in the secondary, Fowler checks a lot of boxes.
