Teylah Saunders brings physicality, IQ, and a blue-collar forward mentality to Elon
Teylah Saunders is a 6-foot-2 forward for Elon whose profile has long centered on toughness, basketball IQ, and energy—traits Charlotte Smith specifically highlighted when she said Saunders has “nice touch around the basket,” “brings physicality to the post position,” and “energizes her teammates.” In her high-school recruitment, she arrived as a Maryland state champion and a second-team all-state pick, which tracks with a player who can defend, rebound, and do the gritty work that coaches love. If your team needs a post player who adds edge, reliability, and locker-room lift, she’s a strong fit.
