Thomas Lee brings Cal Poly experience and special-teams toughness, but his listed role appears to have shifted
Thomas Lee is a Cal Poly special-teams veteran who was a steady punter in the 2022 season, averaging 36.8 yards on 29 punts with a long of 50, and he’s been praised for his technical background, discipline, and football IQ. His differentiators are reliability and consistency more than raw explosiveness, with a profile built around training, attention to detail, and a sports-science mindset. For a team needing a dependable specialist and mature locker-room presence, he looks like a smart fit; for pure leg strength, he’s more of a solid technician than a headline-maker.
