Dennis Herrold brings experienced DL depth and a versatile motor to ACU
Herrold is an Abilene Christian defensive lineman whose appeal starts with versatility and a multi-sport background that usually translates into coordination, competitiveness, and toughness; ACU lists him as a letterman in football, basketball, track, and tennis at Fort Worth Christian, and he entered the program with first-team all-state honors on his résumé. He is the kind of depth piece you care about because he adds effort, athleticism, and a reliable rotational presence rather than flashy stat production, making him a fit for a team that values discipline, flexibility, and developmental upside.
