a sturdy Redbirds road-grader with proven college experience
Landon Humbles brings legit size, experience, and old-school trench toughness to Illinois State; he was listed at 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds as a junior in the Redbirds’ 2007 roster, and he was projected as the backup left tackle before drawing a first start in 2008. His background as a multi-sport prep athlete and his steady rise on the depth chart suggest a player coaches can trust to stay composed under pressure, especially in a physical run game. If you need a dependable OL who won’t get rattled, he fits the vibe.
