Furman Paladins CB from the Class of 2002 Era
Tristian Owusu-Yaw, a 6-0, 171-pound freshman cornerback who joined the Furman Paladins in 2002 after starring at Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, GA, showed early promise with a pick in the 2005 Western Carolina box score—highlighting his ball skills and coverage instincts. Born in 1983, this speedy, lanky CB brought Florida roots and athleticism to the Paladins' secondary, making him a physical differentiator in man coverage. No recent performance data post-college, but his high school pedigree suggests NFL scout interest; ideal fit for teams needing agile, length-at-CB developmental talent.
