Craig Bell brings veteran linebacker size and grit to Alabama State
Craig Bell is a long-time Alabama State linebacker who has been on the roster since 2016, with ESPN listing him at No. 56 and the program showing him at 6'1" and 237 pounds in 2018[1][2]. The clear appeal here is experience and physicality: Bell looks like a classic inside defender who should help set the tone with toughness, leverage, and run support rather than flashy headline stats[1][2]. If a team wants a steady, grown-man linebacker presence with local roots in Montgomery, Bell is the kind of player that fits the room.
