veteran Towson DB known for coverage, return skills, and playmaking punch
In the 2008 season, Jimmy McClam stood out as an experienced cornerback with strong coverage ability and added value as a kick returner, including 12 returns for 260 yards and a 21.7-yard average in his prior season. Towson’s own profile described him as an outstanding cornerback who could also help in passing situations as an extra defensive back, which points to versatility and trust in sub packages. If a team wants a compact, battle-tested DB with special-teams juice and a nose for being around the ball, he fits the bill.
