Alexis Wooden brings size, rebound work, and situational impact for Hampton
Alexis Wooden is a 6-foot-1 forward whose value comes from interior size, board work, and defensive activity rather than flashy scoring; in 2020-21 she played 13 games with six starts, averaging 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds, and posted season highs of nine points, seven rebounds, and three steals in a game. Hampton’s roster lists her as a redshirt senior/graduate student, which suggests experience and maturity that can matter in a rotation. If you want a physical frontcourt piece who can compete, defend, and give dependable minutes, she fits that profile.
