VCU center Camila Contreras brings size, rebounding instincts, and a high-motor interior presence
Camila Contreras is a 6'4" center for VCU whose profile is built on size, board work, and energy; in her earlier college seasons she flashed rebound production, including a career-high five rebounds against George Mason in the 2020-21 season, and she was a strong high school scorer/rebounder before college. The main intrigue is her interior fit: if she’s active, physical, and confident around the rim, she gives VCU a legitimate paint anchor. The caution flag is availability and volume, since her early college sample was limited, so she’s more of a development bet than a finished product.
