Devin Kriley is a young SWAC lefty with strikeout bite and Friday-night upside
In the 2026 season, Alcorn State freshman left-hander Devin Kriley was recognized by D1Baseball as a SWAC Impact Freshman, and his raw line—0-9 with a 9.13 ERA and 50 strikeouts—shows a pitcher who can miss bats even while the results were uneven. He’s a 5-foot-11 southpaw from Goodyear, Arizona, and reports list him around 91 mph with a solid changeup/breaking-ball mix, which gives him real swing-and-miss traits. The caution flag: command and run prevention need work, so he fits best for a staff that can develop young arms patiently.
