RaVon Davis brings veteran Maryland DB depth, but current impact is limited
RaVon Davis is a seasoned Maryland defensive back whose value comes more from experience and familiarity than headline-grabbing production. Maryland’s roster lists him as a 5-foot-10, 178-pound senior from Fort Washington, and his earlier career included 24 tackles and four pass breakups in the 2018 season, plus an interception return touchdown against Ohio State in 2018[3][9]. The broad takeaway: he profiles as a steady, local-grown defender with ball skills and competitive snaps under his belt, making him the kind of depth piece teams trust when they want a reliable, assignment-sound DB rather than a flashy stat monster[3][9].
