experienced Lamar linebacker, but current production is hard to pin down
Bear Christianson is a Lamar Cardinals linebacker with a long tenure in the program, but current public stat-tracking is thin, so his value is better read through role and experience than headline numbers. In Lamar’s 2025 linebacker preview, the staff emphasized leadership and defensive reliability at the position, which suggests a fit for teams that prize assignment soundness, toughness, and communicator traits over flash. He looks like a depth-and-structure guy: useful if your team needs a steady, physical linebacker who understands the system and won’t rattle under pressure.
