Lew Dawson was a mauler at The Citadel and a 2003 All-SoCon anchor on the line
In the 2003 season, Lew Dawson was a fifth-year offensive tackle for The Citadel who started all 12 games and earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors, while also serving as one of the Bulldogs’ team captains.[2][3] His calling card was toughness and transformation: he arrived much heavier, remade his body, and became a reliable, experienced leader who could stabilize a line and handle high-pressure snaps.[1][5] If you want an OL with veteran edge, durability, and legit program-level respect, he fits the bill.
