Jameel Franklin brings veteran linebacker toughness to Mississippi Valley State
Jameel Franklin is a seasoned Mississippi Valley State defender whose calling card has been active run support and disruptive play near the line of scrimmage; in 2013, he earned honorable mention linebacker performer of the week after posting 9 tackles, 3 for loss, and a sack. He projects as the kind of physical, high-effort defensive piece coaches like because he shows impact potential in short bursts and a nose for the ball rather than flashy stat-padding. The main fit question is age/era context: the public record points to an older roster entry, so check current eligibility and role before treating him as a present-day depth answer.
