Jay Vallie brings red-zone size and veteran TE value to Eastern Illinois
Jay Vallie is a big-bodied, experienced tight end who gives Eastern Illinois a reliable target and matchup problem in the passing game. In the 2022 season, he caught 12 passes for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Eastern Illinois listed him on its preseason All-OVC team, which says the staff valued his impact beyond raw volume. He fits best for a team that wants a physical, assignment-sound TE who can help in the red zone and hold up as a mature, seasoned presence.
