Grayson Mays brings veteran McNeese depth and special-teams juice up front
In the 2023 season, Grayson Mays was a redshirt sophomore defensive lineman for McNeese, and earlier in his career he appeared in nine games mostly on special teams as a 2022 sophomore. He stands out more for reliability, versatility, and edge than for gaudy box-score production, with a career highlight that includes a 46-yard pick-six against HCU in November 2021. If you want a physical, experienced DL who can help stabilize the rotation and do the dirty work, he looks like a solid fit.
