veteran Norfolk State linebacker with proven tackling chops and playmaking flashes
Cephas Harden brings old-school linebacker reliability: in the 2019 season, he was sixth on Norfolk State with 57 tackles and added an interception and a sack, showing he can both clean up plays and make an impact in space. ESPN and FOX Sports list him as a Norfolk State linebacker, while NSU’s roster notes a 6-foot-2, 225-pound frame built for physical, downhill football. For a team, the appeal is simple—toughness, experience, and a track record of production; the question is fit, because his best value comes in a scheme that lets him read-and-react rather than chase sideline-to-sideline all day.
