long, physical forward with upside as a Longwood frontcourt piece
Montague is a 6-foot-8 forward who gives Longwood size and versatility on the wing/front line, with his value coming more from fit and frame than from publicly available box-score production. He was added to Longwood’s 2016 signing class as a power forward, and later appeared on the 2017-18 roster as a redshirt sophomore, which suggests a development path rather than instant-impact minutes. For a team, the appeal is a projectable, sturdy forward who can grow into a role if he brings defensive length, rebounding, and physicality.
