UT Martin’s versatile, proven bucket-getter with a school-record ceiling
In his UT Martin career, Okechi Egbe showed real two-way value as a 6-5 guard/forward, finishing with 9.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and a school-record 44-point game in the 2000–01 season[1][2][4]. In the 2002–03 season, he posted 9.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 43.6% from the field[1][6]. The differentiator here is versatility: he could score, rebound, and create enough to matter across lineups, and UT Martin’s own media notes also credit him with major early-career impact, including OVC Freshman of the Year honors[3][12].
