Shamarrie Hugie is a high-efficiency 6-6 wing who’s carving out a real role for Marshall
In the 2025-26 season, Shamarrie Hugie has been a useful, versatile guard-wing for Marshall, combining size, efficient scoring, and rebounding in a bench-friendly role. He arrived after a strong JUCO run at Cowley College, where he averaged 14.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, and at Marshall he has already flashed upside with a career-high 19 points in a March 2026 semifinal performance and 17 points in a January road win. At 6-6 with a physical frame, he brings length, shot-making, and energy—exactly the kind of under-the-radar glue guy coaches love.
