Madiaw Niang brings size, defense, and blue-collar utility to the Radford frontcourt
Niang is a 6-foot-8 forward whose value comes more from impact than box-score flash: he has logged 97 appearances with 19 starts, while producing 242 points, 278 rebounds, 34 steals, and 30 blocks in his college career. He profiles as a physical, experienced glue piece who can defend, rebound, and make winning plays without needing heavy touches, which makes him appealing for teams that want toughness, versatility, and low-usage reliability. His long track record of college minutes suggests a steady, team-first contributor rather than a high-variance scorer.
