Aaron Trent brings VMI a throwback LB profile: size, tackle pop, and proven production
In the latest available VMI roster and career bio, Aaron Trent is listed as a 6-foot-4 linebacker, and his profile points to a physical, high-intensity defender with proven playmaking chops from his earlier career, including 77 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and 2 interceptions in his listed senior stats. He fits the mold of a downhill, disruptive linebacker who can stuff the run and create negative plays, which matters if a team wants length, toughness, and urgency over flashy measurables. The catch: current season production data wasn’t clearly available here, so he’s best evaluated as a size-and-impact defender with a history of making plays rather than a stat-line star right now.
