Hailey Smith gives IU Indy a two-way wing who stuffs the stat sheet
In the 2025-26 season, Hailey Smith emerged as a steadying force for IU Indianapolis, averaging 10.1 points, a team-high 5.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.8 steals while starting 26 of 30 games.[1][4] She brings real versatility as a 5'10" guard/forward, and the eye test matches the box score: she can rebound like a forward, create a little offense, and disrupt plays defensively with active hands.[1] Her value goes beyond numbers—she’s a high-motor, do-everything piece with proven production after transferring back home, which makes her a strong fit for teams needing toughness, connectivity, and a dependable glue player.[1][2]
