Depth-chart RB with local ties and steady Aztec grit
Lucky Avinger is a San Diego State running back with California roots and a backstory that screams team-first over headline-hunting: he joined SDSU in 2020 after Fullerton College, has been noted on the Aztecs’ depth chart rather than as a featured producer, and logged only limited game action in 2021. His appeal is more about toughness, familiarity with the program, and low-drama fit than eye-popping numbers—useful if your team wants a dependable, hard-nosed back who can compete in a physical room and bring mature locker-room energy.
