Keely Furr brings freshman upside to Davidson’s right-handed pitching mix
Keely Furr enters Davidson as a **freshman RHP**, so the current read is more projection than track record, but that also makes him intriguing for a staff looking to develop arm talent.[1] The clearest differentiator is his **right/right profile** and roster fit as a young pitcher with room to add polish, command, and pitch shape in college. Because public game and stat data are limited, there’s not enough verified evidence yet to label him a finished product; right now, he looks like a **developmental pickup** whose value will come from coaching, adaptability, and how quickly his stuff translates.
