Michael Hayes II brings reliable leg strength and clutch range to WVU
In the 2024 season, West Virginia kicker Michael Hayes II scored 80 points and set a school career long of 52 yards, showing the kind of dependable range coaches love late in games.[11][13] He also handled kickoffs at a high level, including a 54.6-yard average in one 2024 outing, which hints at real value beyond just field goals.[9] The big sell: he's a proven, game-ready specialist with strong leg power and composure in pressure spots, a useful fit for teams needing stability in the kicking game.[8][9][11]
