McNeese’s steady perimeter threat with proven scoring touch
Candace LaCombe was a reliable guard for McNeese State who brought perimeter spacing, timely shot-making, and enough scoring punch to matter in conference play; in 2010-11 she appeared in 33 games, started 12, averaged 3.8 points per game, and ranked third on the team in three-pointers, with earlier seasons showing she could also reach double figures when her shot was falling. She fits best as a role player who understands her job, competes, and can punish help defense from the arc rather than a high-usage creator.
