Kenadie Katje is an early-depth CBU bat with catching versatility
Katje brings value as a 5-10 catcher/infielder who has already shown she can contribute in limited at-bats, hitting .500 with 2 hits in 4 appearances during CBU’s 2025 season after appearing in 4 games as a sophomore[2][3]. Her upside is versatility and receiving/catching experience, backed by a strong recruiting profile that listed a 1.67 pop time and 67 mph overhand throw velocity in high school[1]. She looks like a compact, role-friendly option who can help a roster with defensive flexibility, but she still needs more college volume to separate herself as an impact everyday piece[2][3].
