Jerney Jones brings walk-on grit and veteran depth to Mizzou’s backfield
In the 2025 season, Jerney Jones is a redshirt senior RB for Missouri listed at 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, and his value is more about toughness, quickness, and consistency than flashy stat lines. He first arrived at Mizzou as a guaranteed walk-on after a record-setting prep career in Republic, and Missouri’s roster notes have long praised his toughness and quickness out of the backfield. If you want a hard-nosed depth piece who knows the system and competes like mad every snap, he’s the kind of player coaches trust.
