Jackson State LB Carl Jones brings edge-rush juice and run-stopping grit
Carl Jones is a 6'2", 230-pound linebacker whose 2025 profile shows a solid **61.2 PFF grade** and a clear calling card: explosive edge-rushing flashes paired with run-stopping tenacity.[1] He projects as the kind of defender who can add physicality and disruption, especially if your team wants a linebacker who plays with intensity and can attack downhill rather than just clean up plays.[1] The main appeal is his toughness and backfield pressure upside, not empty-stat flash.[1]
