the tough, efficient Montanan in the paint
Borja Fernández gives Montana State a sturdy 6-foot-7, 230-pound forward with real Big Sky experience and a dependable inside-out game. In his 2020-21 season, he averaged 4.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 17.9 minutes while shooting 42.4% from the field and 31.7% from three, showing he can stretch the floor without losing his edge on the glass. The big selling points are his physicality, versatility, and veteran know-how—plus he was part of Montana State’s 2021-22 Big Sky title run, so the winning DNA is baked in.
