LSU walk-on Cowinn Helaire is a depth-and-discipline receiver with special-teams value
Cowinn Helaire is a redshirt junior wide receiver for LSU in the 2025 season who has carved out a roster spot as a reliable walk-on and special-teams contributor, appearing in games against South Alabama in 2024 and Western Kentucky in 2025. He’s not a volume-stat producer, but his differentiators are his program buy-in, academic consistency, and long-term developmental value—he’s a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection, majoring in biochemistry, and comes from strong LSU family ties. If you want toughness, trust, and “do-the-job” depth more than splash plays, he fits the bill.
