Howard K Matt Jacobs is an unproven but developing kicking prospect
Matt Jacobs is listed as a place kicker for Howard, but Howard’s roster page shows no available college statistics yet, so his on-field impact at the college level is still largely a projection rather than a proven production story. The main reason to watch him is upside: Kohl’s kicking camp notes from 2024 highlighted a strong kickoff profile, including an 85.32 overall kickoff score and a 58-yard kickoff with 3.15 seconds of hang time, which suggests legit leg talent and room to grow. If your team wants a developmental kicker with measurable leg strength, Jacobs is worth a look.
