Kansas DB with veteran size and Jayhawk pedigree
Bilal Cook is listed as a Kansas defensive back and veteran presence, but the latest publicly surfaced roster data is thin on recent on-field production, so the safest read is profile-first: experienced, physically built for the position, and carrying the kind of Jayhawk lineage that usually signals football IQ and toughness. In the 2026 context, he looks more like a depth-and-development piece than a stat-sheet headliner, which can still matter a lot if your team values reliability, maturity, and special-teams grit over flash.
