Proven Texas tackle with long, dependable starting experience
Kyle Hix was a four-year offensive lineman at Texas who appeared in 51 games and started the final 39, including 28 at right tackle and 11 at left tackle, giving him the kind of experience teams value on the edge.[1] He helped Texas average 427.5 yards and 35.5 points per game across his last three seasons, which points to a steady, high-functioning run/pass blocker rather than a flashy one.[1] The big differentiator is versatility and durability: he could hold up on either side, stay in the lineup, and contribute to efficient offense.[1][3]
